MGMT http://www.whoismgmt.com/ with no "official Website" is currently on rotation in iTunes playing while I email and work in my studio, my subaru while I drive to my studio, and in my wife first generation Sony CD player. These guys are great. The only other album that gets more play right now is the new Mountain Goats - Heretic People.
MGMT's Oracular Spectacular got a 4.5 stars out of 5. I would give them 5. In a day where everyone either sounds the same or they sound like they have no talent and strive to sound different just to be different, MGMT breaks the mold. their sound is mix of electro psych pop mixed with direct influences from The Flaming Lips to Grandaddy and Datarock. "Time to Pretend" is a pop hit of sorts getting lots of attention. It's a song that has all the right kick without pretension. Check these guys out.
