Son Volt is led by Jay Farrar formerly of Uncle Tupelo fame. I just discovered Son Volt the other day and I am very impressed. They actually reminds me a lot of Jason Molina from Songs: Ohia / Magnolia Electric Company. Great stuff! You can stream about 4 songs from their site here.
